Joe and Sylvia Rothbard Family Jewish Summer Camp Program

    The Joe and Sylvia Rothbard Family provides financial need based grants to encourage youth in grades 3-12 to participate in Jewish overnight summer camps. Applicants must be members of the Greater Indianapolis Jewish community.

The grants will be awarded on a first come first served basis from January 4, 2010 - March 15, 2010.

Jewish Summer Camper Incentive Program

        The Federation in cooperation with the Foundation for Jewish Camp provides incentive grants to encourage youth in grades 3-11 to participate in Jewish overnight non-profit summer camps for 3 weeks or longer. Scholarships will be awarded to first time campers who are members of the Greater Indianapolis Jewish community; at least one parent/guardian must be a member in good standing and contribute to the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis in the year the grant is awarded.

We regret that in 2010, youth who receive an intensive Jewish experience during the school year are ineligible for the Foundation for Jewish Camp Incentive grant.
 

A limited number of grants for second year campers are available this year. The camper must have received the Incentive Grant for the first year of camping to be eligible for a second year grant.

HHAI Camper Incentive Program

This scholarship will be awarded to first time campers in grads 3-11 who have never attended a three week or longer non-profit Jewish summer overnight camp. A limited number of grants will be awarded to second time campers in grades 3-11 who attended a three week or longer non-profit Jewish summer overnight camp and who received an Incentive Grant for their first year of camping. The grants will be awarded on a first come first served basis from December 1, 2009 - March 15, 2010.
